Today in class Mr.Harbeck started the class of by asking us what kind of questions we had trouble on the assignment called Which Italian Insects Often Fall in Love? The Questions we picked were question's 7 13 and 14.

To figure out question 7 you need to know the numbers. There are 9 blue and there are 16 white. For us to figure out what the TPO's (total possible outcomes) we had to add the numbers up and we got 25. Since it kind of hard for me to explain the rest the picture should help you.

This is how we figured out question 7
This is how we figured out question 13 and 14
after Mr.Harbeck refreshed our memories with by showing us how to correctly complete those 3 questions, he now gave us a new work sheet filled with some problems that are simalar to the ones i've just shown you.
here is one of the problems on the work sheet we did in class.
" a jar contains 11 white and 21 blue marbles. A marble is drawn at random. P(not blue). Express te probability as a fraction.
This question isn't very complicated it pretty much is straight forward. If you dont really get it as much as i do just look at the picture i posted it'll pretty much guide you through.

Here is a picture of what we did.

The second question wasn't complicated but i found is a tiny bit harder than the first question. The picture i'll post makes sense to me so it should help you.

Heres the picture for question 2
This picture should pretty much guide your through the way. After this much examples you should be able to understand how to do this.
This is pretty much what we did in class. My scribe probably wont be any help for people who needs help on the answers but someone should have learned at least somthing. For the next post, im gonna have to choose......JohnRay! :D
