mystery guy: (crying)
snob: whats wrong with you?
mystery guy: i dont know how to do a math algebraic equation.
snob: oh well best be moving on now
mystery guy: WAIT! can you help me?
snob: I dont think so.
mystery guy: please, I will even pay you.
snob: well in that case yes
mystery guy: thank you,
snob: so what is the question, make it snappy
mystery guy: the question is, how do you simplify n+3 minus 5n +12, i think the simplification is -6n+15
snob: n n n no! you dumby it is -4n+15. your mistake was you added the n to the negative five and made it a 6n then added the 3 to the 12. the 1n minus negative 5n is just like 1 minus 5, IT EAQUALS 4!
mystery guy: thank you so so much. I have just one more.
snob: no. GIVE ME MY MONEY
mystery guy: no help no money
snob:dont make me beat you up.
snob: FINE BUT IT BETTER BE THE LAST!
mystery guy: thank you, the question is.. how do you simplify 2+4(3n+8). i think it is 12n+10
snob: you really are stupid. this is GRADE 8 MATH. for this you must do distributive property. you multiply the 4 and the 3n than you multiply the 4 and the 8 now it should be 12n+32 now you add the remaning 2 to the 32 and you get 34.
mystery guy: oh so the equation simplified is 12n+34. i see now my mistake was that I didnt multiply the 4 ant the 8, and i just added the two ok thanks. bye.
mystery guy: (walks away)
snob: GET BACK HERE AND GIVE ME MY MONEY
