Phythagoras

Pythagoras was a Greek philosopher who made important developments in mathematics, astronomy, and the theory of music. The theorem now known as Pythagoras's theorem was known to the Babylonians 1000 years earlier but he may have been the first to prove it.

The Side A and Side B can be two different numbers but they both have to equal 90 degrees. These two sides are also called legs for the triangle. Once these 2 angles are added they are called Complementary Angles. There are also angles that are 180 degrees and make a straight line. This is called Supplementary.

In this picture there are two triangles that make one rectangle.
Two triangles can also be used to make 1 square or other
quadrilateral.
Question Example -

a²+b²=c² - Theorem
16²+12²=c²
(16x16)+(12x12)=c²
256 + 144 square root of 400 20=c
To make sure that your answer is right look
at the triangle and check the side or the length
your working on and see if the other sides and
shorter or longer.

So yea lets get to it.

The mans name is Phythagoras, he proved the Phythagorean Theorem. He was a vegan, I guess thats why he's smart. Anyways he was a philosopher or teacher, he's really into math. Some recall him as the father of math. He also discovered the circumference of the earth, he also found out us, earth orbits around the sun.

This is a right angle triangle. R.A.T. is a right angle triangle, a rat is 90 degree's. Q is known as theta and B down there is Beta, if you add up all of the angle's it has to equal 90 degrees. It doesnt matter how much each angle is, but it has to equal 90 degrees. The longest side of the triangle is called the Hypotenuse and is labeled C in the picture above. It has to be always labeled as C, while the other legs, Q and B it doesnt really matter how you order either one.

The square has 4 equal side's that measures 90 degree each, so the all around measure of the square is 360 degrees. If you cut the square in half of the opposite sides, you will get 2 equal right angle triangles. The lines of symmetry are on each sides, these lines tell you if the lines are equal and its a square. If all of the sides are equal its a square, if its not then its probably a rectangle.
So yeah i guess were finished

Phythagoras
_Proof that a right triangle existed

_Believed and calculated that the earth is sphere and the Earth is going around the sun
_this is a triangle a right triangle
_RAT (Right Angle Triangle)
_I didn't show it but there suppose to be a sign on the inside of the tip top of the triangle called the Theta
_And the bottom tip right beside the right angle is called the Beta


_A quadlilateral
_Internals angle
_4 with a right angle or 90 degrees
_All equals to 360 degrees
_YOU CAN'T MAKE IT A SQUARE AS LONG AS IT DIDN"T TELL YOU IT IS
a2 + b2 = c2 is use to this triangles because this is the pythagoras thereom. You use this formula whenever something or whenever sides are missing.(Following pictures contains pictures you won't understand so i recommend a parental advice)
This is how you figure out how a and b fits to the hypotenuse . th
e next picture is the formula on how to solve the a and b to get c.
