Today we learned about square brackets, and how to answer an integer question including them.
Here is an example of a square bracket integer question looks like:

Now how do we answer a question like this? Well, here are some things to remember:
1)Always answer the question in the brackets first
2)There should only be 1 integer in the brackets when you finish a question
3)If there are any subtraction signs to convert, convert them AFTER you answer the question in the brackets.

Here is how this question is answered:

Here is another example of a square bracket integer question:

This seems to look a bit more challenging, doesn't it? Okay well here's how to answer this question:

Homework:
For homework we had to do part four in the green booklet (answers and work in notebook). Here are one of the questions from part four:

Another thing we had to do for homework was to do all of page 12 and pick any of the 10 questions to change them into standard form in our notebook. Here is an example of what to write in our notebook:

Okay so that's what we did today! If you guys see any errors, just let me know my commenting. I'll fix it (:

HI ABBY ! Your scribe post is great! I like how you put alot of examples and pictures of showing how to solve the questions. The only thing that you should improve next time is make your fonts have more colour so it would STAND out. But your post was almost perfect so good job! (:

Hi. I really like your scribe and all of the examples that you gave. The only suggestion I could give was for the last question when you are showing how to simplify -2-3=5 to put that into another colour so the reader knows it is a side note and not the next step in the question.
