Scribe Post for November 25, 2008

Tuesday, November 25, 2008
Today in class we talked more about dividing integers. We finished our barn doors and Mr. Harbeck reviewed what we needed to have on our barn doors, to get a full marks. We needed to have at least two examples for each door and we needed to have the rule's. We also talked about yesterday's homework. Yesterday's homework was page 7 numbers 10 - 17 , we checked numbers 13 , 16 and 17 .

Today's homework is page 7 numbers 19 and 23 , and page 8 numbers 1 to 18 .

page 7 ,

page 8 ,

This is some of the homework , and if i did anything wrong feel free to leave a comment . And tommorow we will also have a quiz on what we've been doing so far. I guess this is the time for me to pick the next scribe , the next scribe is
KATRINA (:

HEY THERE 16 ! HAHA! I feel sorry for this scribe. There aren't any comments...yet ;) I'll start off this comment with some simple errors.
First of all, you didn't indent your paragraph! It was a good paragraph too. Very informative (Y) KUDOS TO THAT! Now, in your paragraph, you mentioned this sentence: "We needed to have at least two examples for each door and we needed to have the rule's."
The "rule's" is incorrect, because when you are using an apostrophe, it means possessive. To think about when you need an apostophe, you think, the word, then IS, or if they own it.
    For example.
    Gian's - possesive.
    Where's - is. Where is?

That's all I can say, because your room's blog keeps kicking me out 0__o Good job.

I just want to say that you did a great job on your scribe post!
You explained everything that you guys did in class. I like your pictures, I think it would have been better if you put them in different colors but that's just my opinion. I didn't catch any errors but I guess Linda did. You explained everything really well and you even talked about what you did in class before. Over all your scribe is wonderful! YAy!GOOD JOB;P

Nevermind :\ It stopped kicking me out x)
In your conclusive paragraph (last one) one of your sentences start with an "And". Beginning sentences should never start with that. "And" is a connective word, you would use a comma, then write the word and begin on with whatever you were saying. A lot of people have been using puntuation incorrectly, such as yourself.

    For example
    1) Dude , where's my car ?
    2) Dude, where's my car?

As you can see, the difference is there are spaces on either side of the puncuation. You only leave a space on the right side. You also forgot to capitilize a few "I's" in your scribe.
Alrighty, then. That's about all I can say. Other than those few errors, your grammar is very good! That's a lot more than I can say about other people who scribe, honestly.

Good job on this scribe post! The information that you have is all correct from what I can see, and you did an excellent job of explaining everything that you posted. I also like how you have very neat examples and questions from the textbook, it makes it easier to read.

Keep up the good work in your next scribe post!

    GIAAAAAAAN!
Nice scribe! Nice pictures too, helped and supported everything. Showed people what you were trying to say. Some errors.. hm, well first off, I don't think you need a "'s" on RULES. Haha, and maybe you should have added ways on how you solved that problem. So then people who didn't understand this kind of math would understand. Haha, but that's okay! Good job anyway! :) Keep it up! :P
and Linda, the indent (tab) won't work.. ):
